Departing from the Seattle Yard (upper right), trains go right hand running thru Ballard, past the Edmonds waterfront the yard at Everett followed by the Everett passenger station. Arlington is next and then Burlington where the climb up the Cascade starts, taking you to the second level.

The climb up the Cascades reaches Concrete and the coal minds of Diablo. The tracks then had down into valley of Mazama before arriving at Winthrop. At Winthrop a branch line runs up to the logging camp at Twisp. Departing Winthrop trains enter the final tunnel on the North Cascade Division exiting at the entrance to the yard at Omak.
